i spent most of the day outside

picked up a cute blue unicorn plushie from a place thats about 2-3 hours from where i live its way out in the mountains but its still pretty cool i got a silver the hedgehog figure too hes sitting on my small little sonic shelf where i put my idw comics

anyways onto the main blog post

im trying to convince our mom to switch to mp3 players instead of streaming services and woah holy shit she agreed with me for once--point being is that i mentioned how streaming services are just leeching off of our money (music services especially) and that reverting back to the 2000s back when we had physical copies of everything and everything wasnt at risk of being wiped off the face of the planet or lost to the sands of time if you forgot your password or something--and she agreed

mostly because itunes fucked her over from an album she purchased like wayyy back just a little bit before i was born (beach boys) and it wasnt predownloaded onto her phone library so she got pissed and i was just like 'lmao this is why i want an mp3 player'

will i be teaching my mom piracy?

no but its still pretty easy to snag mp3 files off of anywhere with just a youtube link so you dont even need to go through the trenches all you need to do is snag the link of a youtube lyrics video and bam viola upload the files into your player and bam you got tunes

also i legally own the ost for ddlc (and i think ddlc plus) too just wanted to mention that lmaooo i got it free with my copy of ddlc for the switch

anyways im searching through ebay for used mp3 players and while im doing that im going to try and see if i can find some homestuck merch i can snag alongside that if its not.. you know expensive as shit because all officially licensed homestuck merch puts a huge as fuck dent in your wallet if youre trying to buy from resellers nd shit like that aughhhh its so painful its why i dont have any official merch B/
